Terms of service

Last updated: 9 April 2026 · Torec Ltd

Agreement

These terms apply when you engage Torec Ltd(“Torec”, “we”) to provide professional online event delivery and related services. A written order, statement of work, or signed quote may add to or override these terms where explicitly agreed.

Services

We provide event delivery support as described in your booking or proposal (for example hosting, technical support, and coordination). Unless otherwise agreed, you remain responsible for event content, speakers, and compliance with applicable laws (including marketing and data protection).

Booking and fees

Fees are as quoted in writing. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT. Payment terms will be stated on the invoice. Late payment may affect scheduling or continued service.

Online payments (Stripe)

Where you pay through our website, checkout is processed by Stripe. You receive Stripe's payment confirmation; we may also email you separately. The scope of delivery still follows a written confirmation or proposal — paying online does not replace agreeing final dates, access, or bespoke requirements where those apply.

Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT. If tax is calculated at checkout (where enabled), it will be shown before you pay. Cancellations and changes follow the section below and any schedule agreed with you.

Cancellations and changes

Date changes and cancellations may incur fees depending on notice and costs already incurred — the specifics will be set out in your order or proposal. We will always aim to be reasonable where circumstances change.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where a higher cap is agreed in writing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK in which case mandatory consumer protections may apply.
